  Changes by BeginThings (24 Oct 2026):
    - Restyled with BeginThings colours, font and controls (bt-theme.css); follows the site's light/dark mode.
    - Removed the Pixabay "Search images" tool and its API key.
    - Removed Google Fonts search/loading (webfontloader); system fonts only.
    - Removed "Open URL", "Open test template" and the ?image= remote loader, so the
      editor never requests files from other sites. No GitHub or other outside links.
    - "External" menu links now point to BeginThings free tools.
    - Replaced the alertifyjs notifier (GPL-3.0) with a BeginThings notifier (MIT).
    - Replaced jquery.translate.js (no licence stated) with a BeginThings translator (MIT).
    - Replaced zoomView.js (based on a CC BY-SA forum answer) with a BeginThings view transform (MIT).
    - Replaced imagefilters.js with BeginThings image filters written from scratch (MIT): brightness,
      contrast, saturation/HSL, blur, sharpen, grayscale, sepia, invert, edge, emboss, solarize,
      enrich, dither, oil and mosaic.
    - Menus and dialogs no longer use inline event handlers or javascript: links (works under a
      strict Content Security Policy).
    - Help > About shows the licence and BeginThings instead of outside links.
    - Built with webpack 5 in production mode. No service worker, no manifest.
