What is BeginThings Concept Designer? +
It's an AI short-video studio. You give it a topic; it writes a script, gathers royalty-free stock footage, generates a natural voiceover, adds styled subtitles and background music, and renders a finished vertical or horizontal video — the kind you'd post to Reels, Shorts or TikTok.
Is it free? +
The Designer here is free to use. It runs on a free render engine, and the footage (Pexels/Pixabay), the voices (edge-tts) and the script AI all have free tiers. You may need your own free API key for stock footage — we'll show you where. Heavier use or faster rendering can be upgraded later.
Where do the videos and music come from? +
Clips come from royalty-free libraries (Pexels, Pixabay) or your own uploads. Background music is from a royalty-free set. Everything is licensed for reuse, so your videos are safe to publish.
How long does a video take? +
On the free CPU engine, a short clip typically renders in a few minutes depending on length and how many versions you asked for. You'll get a notification (and, if signed in, an email) when it's ready.
Do I need to install anything? +
No. Everything runs in your browser and on the hosted engine. Nothing to download.
What languages are supported? +
Scripts and voices are available in English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and more. Pick the language in step 1 and a matching voice in step 3.
Why do I sign in with Google? +
So your concepts and finished videos follow you across devices, and so we can email you when a render is done. We only store your email and your saved concepts. Subscriptions for higher limits will be added later — the same approach as our 3D Workspace tool.
Can I use my own footage or script? +
Yes. Choose "Write my own" in step 1 for a custom script, and pick "My own clips/images" as the footage source to upload your media.
