Understanding Text Cases

Sentence case

This is the standard for most writing. The first letter of the first word in a sentence is capitalized, as are proper nouns. It's ideal for paragraphs and body text.
Example: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

Title Case

Commonly used for headlines and titles. The first letter of each major word is capitalized. Our tool can optionally ignore minor words (like 'a', 'the', 'for') for perfect AP or Chicago style titles.
Example: The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over the Lazy Dog.

UPPERCASE

EVERY LETTER IS CAPITALIZED. This case is used for emphasis, acronyms, or to make text stand out. Use it sparingly, as it can be perceived as shouting.
Example: WARNING: DO NOT PRESS THE RED BUTTON.

lowercase

every letter is in its smallest form. this is often used for stylistic purposes in branding or to create a more informal, approachable tone in your writing.
Example: this is an example of lowercase text.
