Many process your files locally, while some load online libraries or use a service for a particular feature. Check each tool's notice before entering sensitive information. /workspace/is not public or indexable. - BeginRooms does not shorten links through a third-party service; its link tools (QR, clean and campaign links) run in the browser. Optional AI requires the user's own supported provider key or compatible local service, at the user's cost.
- Optional Auto-OCR (English only, off by default, switched on per cube) reads text in newly added images on the device, in the browser, and adds the recognised text as an editable sticky note beside the image (low-confidence results are skipped); the image itself is not changed.
- Not claimed: simultaneous-editing/external-delivery guarantees, PDF-to-Office conversion in the workspace, and universal offline/cross-device sync — see the capability limits in the source.

BeginThings is the brand. Begin Things is the registered business behind it, run as a sole proprietorship in India. Here are the details in full, so you can check them before you pay anything.
You can verify the GSTIN yourself at any time on the government portal: Search Taxpayer on gst.gov.in. Type the number above and it will return Begin Things.
What GST registration means for you
- Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees as checkout totals. The applicable tax treatment is determined from the billing and place-of-supply details validated before payment.
- After server-confirmed payment, the applicable transaction document is emailed with the classification and tax treatment applied to that transaction.
- If a GSTIN should appear on an eligible Indian transaction document, enter it with the billing details before payment. Post-payment GSTIN amendment is not currently supported.
- For customers outside India, tax treatment depends on validated billing and place-of-supply details and is not automatically assumed zero-rated. Customers remain responsible for taxes or charges due in their own country.
- The 100+ free tools stay free. There is no charge, so there is no tax on them either.

Manual Windows preview
FormulaMapper
FormulaMapper offers a manual Windows trial preview (v0.21.0) for fresh profiles. Its included helper is designed to start a 30-calendar-day trial only after you explicitly choose START and the helper successfully checks macro execution in Excel. The helper has not yet been run in Windows Excel. Paid activation and checkout remain closed; Mac support is not yet claimed.

My first career was in prosthetic engineering, designing things that had to fit a real human body and work the first time. That discipline never left me.
I started out in a global medical devices company, running B2B and B2C marketing and sales for healthcare products. It taught me to explain complicated things to people who have no patience for jargon, because they are dealing with something that actually matters to them.
From there I spent the better part of a decade in digital agencies and, later, an IT training LLP. Along the way I have worked on campaigns for Jack Daniel's, Harman (a Samsung company), Revolt Motors, Oppo, Sodexo, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finserv Health, Ashiana Housing, IFFCO-Tokio, Lovely Professional University, T&T Motors and Cambridge School. I led the social team on a fintech health brand launch, and covered CES 2019 in Las Vegas for a connected-audio client.
Most recently I ran digital marketing and communications for an IT training LLP: a five to six person team, 400 plus qualified leads at 10 to 12 rupees a lead, roughly 20 lakh in ticket sales for a founder summit, and more than 500 entrepreneurs trained on digital marketing, content and AI. I built the landing pages, wrote the copy, designed the assets and ran the ads, which is a useful way to learn exactly which software gets in your way.
Because somewhere across all of that, I grew tired of tools that ask for an account, your attention and a subscription before they do one useful thing. I built BeginThings to make useful browser tools easy to start, with local processing where the tool supports it and clear notices for features that use online services. Accounts, trials, payments and sync support the premium products.
