GSTIN, PAN & IFSC checker
Spot typos before they reach an invoice. This checks the format and checksum on your device. It does not look anything up, so it cannot tell whether a number is registered.

Keep client details in one tidy place
BeginRooms holds each client, project and deadline together. When you are sure of the client GSTIN, keep it with the work. This checker stays free.
What is checked
GSTIN has 15 characters: a 2-digit state code, the holder's 10-character PAN, an entity number, the letter Z and a check character. The tool checks the pattern, the state code, the PAN pattern and the check character (a base-36 checksum).
PAN has 10 characters: five letters, four digits and a letter. The fourth letter tells the holder type, for example P for an individual and C for a company.
IFSC has 11 characters: four letters for the bank, a zero, and six letters or digits for the branch.
All of this runs on your device. The tool never contacts any registry, so it tells you about typos, not about whether a business exists.
Frequently asked questions
Does this confirm that a GSTIN is active?
No. It checks format and checksum only. To confirm a GSTIN is registered and active, use the taxpayer search on the official GST portal.
Is my data stored or sent anywhere?
No. Numbers are checked in your browser and are gone when you close the tab.
Why does a number with the right length fail?
Most failures are one mistyped character. For a GSTIN the checksum shows the character that should be last, which helps you find the typo.
Can I check many at once?
Yes, use the list tab with up to 500 lines and download the results as a CSV.
