This page explains how BeginThings ("we", "the service", "the site") handles information collected through beginthings.com.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to share with us:

• Information you submit through the enquiry form (name, optional business name, website/profile URL, the problem you want fixed, optional budget range, and contact details, email or WhatsApp number).
• Aggregated, anonymised analytics from Google Analytics 4 (page views, button clicks, form submissions) to understand which parts of the site are useful.
• Standard server logs (IP, browser type, page requested) kept by our hosting provider, Hostinger.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and deliver any service you have requested or purchased.
• To improve the website (broken pages, slow sections, confusing copy).
• For nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising.

How it's stored

Form submissions are received by Sourav Mahapatra at sourav@beginthings.com. Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics. Hosting is by Hostinger. No data is stored in a custom database on this site.

Cookies

The site uses Google Analytics cookies to understand aggregate site usage. You can opt out using a browser extension or by disabling JavaScript on the site. The site does not use marketing or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of any information we hold about you, ask for it to be deleted, or ask any questions about how it is handled by emailing sourav@beginthings.com. We'll respond within 7 working days.

Children

The site is intended for adults running businesses or freelance work. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and post a brief note on the homepage.
