How it works

A good proposal answers four questions: what will you do, by when, for how much, and what happens next. The generator puts them on one page so a client can approve quickly. Revision limits and an ownership clause prevent the two most common disputes: endless changes and unclear rights.

The payment schedule splits the total (with GST if you add it) by the percentages you choose. The last instalment takes any rounding, so the parts always sum to the total. Frequently asked questions

Is this a legal contract?

It is a proposal. Once the client accepts it in writing it can serve as a simple agreement, but for large or risky projects ask a lawyer to review the terms.

Should I charge GST?

Only if you are registered for GST or are required to be. Check with your CA. The checkbox just adds the amount to the proposal.

Is my data stored?
