How it works

Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin used by designers and developers to fill a layout before the real copy exists. Because it is meaningless, nobody reads it and judges the content instead of the design.

The generator builds sentences from a pool of classic lorem ipsum words in random order. "Generate again" gives a new random version every time. It never contacts a server.

Good to know

Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin taken from a work by Cicero. Designers use it because the letter shapes and word lengths look like real text without distracting readers with meaning, so the layout can be judged on its own.

Placeholder copy should be replaced before launch. Search engines can treat leftover filler as thin content, and users lose trust when they see it. Use the generator to test line length, heading hierarchy and spacing with realistic amounts of text, and then replace each block with real writing.
