Reviews are one of the strongest signals for local search and Google Maps rankings, and most happy customers would leave one if it took ten seconds. A QR code at the counter, on the bill or on a table tent takes them straight to the review box for your business.
How to find your review link
- Open your Google Business Profile (search your business name on Google while signed in as the owner).
- Choose Ask for reviews or Get more reviews and copy the short link (it looks like
g.page/r/…). - Paste it above. Alternatively paste your Place ID (starts with
ChIJ), which you can find with Google's Place ID finder; the tool builds the review link for you.
How to use it
- Copy your review link. From Google Business Profile, choose Ask for reviews and copy the link, or find your Place ID.
- Generate. Press Generate QR and check the link shown under the code.
- Test and download. Scan with your phone to test, then download the print-ready PNG.
Where to place it
- Next to the billing counter or payment QR.
- On printed bills, delivery bags and thank-you cards.
- On a table tent in restaurants and clinics.
- In WhatsApp messages after a completed job, using the link itself.
Stay within Google's rules
Ask every customer, not just the happy ones, and never offer discounts or gifts in exchange for reviews. Google can remove incentivised reviews. A simple “Loved it? Review us on Google” works best.

Printing and testing your QR
The download is a high-contrast PNG with a white quiet zone around the code, which scanners need. Print it at least 2.5 × 2.5 cm for close scanning (cards, bills) and around 10 cm for posters read from a metre or two away. A rough rule is one unit of width for every ten units of scanning distance. Keep dark modules on a light background; inverted or low-contrast colours fail on many phones. Print it next to the words “Review us on Google” so people know what to expect, and test that it opens the review box rather than just your Maps listing.
Always scan the printed sample with two different phones before printing in bulk. Because this is a static QR, the content is stored inside the pattern itself: there is no redirect server, no subscription and nothing that can expire or be switched off later.
Private by design
There is no upload step and no account. The page loads the tool, and your browser does the work on your own device. That is why it is fast on good connections and still works if the network drops after the page has loaded. We don't see your files, photos, numbers or IDs, and we don't ask for your email.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create a QR code for Google reviews?
Copy your review link from Google Business Profile, paste it above and press Generate, then download the PNG.
Does the QR code expire?
No. It is static and works as long as the link does.
Can I use a Place ID instead of a link?
Yes. Paste the Place ID and the tool builds the official write-review link.
Is it free to print on bills and posters?
Yes, for any commercial use.
Can I track scans?
Static QR codes do not track scans. Watch your review count in Google Business Profile instead.
